The bad ass Get Involved club night is no more,
to celebrate it's legacy the minds behind the music
are having an exhibition of all the posters used over
the years, mine included. They'll be selling prints
of the posters on the night at a really nice price,
Scuttle down to Concrete Hermit on the 3rd and
pick up your favorite poster.

Twice upon a time...

Went to a celebration of the hugely influential 

'Viking of 6th Avenue' - Moondog a fortnight ago at 

the Barbican, an absolutely brilliant show, the London 

Saxophonic were excellent as wer all the other guests

and contributors... Just finished reading the authorized

biography aswell so timing couldn't have been better,

Space Chicken...

Returned from a week long trip in new york to find that my good

friend Damhnait had sent us a sweet fridge magnet from her

California base, where she hunts Space Microbes for Nasa... 

the last gift from Damh' was a great book by Jefery Kluger called

Journeys Beyond Selene about unmanned space missions from

the JPL Labs in LA... Thanks Damh' see you in July!...

Always loved the marks made in this logo.

(kinda looks like an abstract Chicken shop logo, perhaps

this is where Morris Cassanova took his inspiration from)...

A while back i was asked to create some model friendly graphics

for an Australian modeling agency, the blog's now live with lots

of pretty goings on. These five characters came about thru drawing

a hand holding a bird, over and over and over and...

anyway.

Good show at Concrete Hermit last night, Ian Stevenson

created two large, starkly coloured canvases for the show,

Gareth Bayliss was showing two of a series called swarm,

very nice work gents. The BEP crew were in to survey the

printing, looks like they made some shirts with the thinking head,

watch out for that Ninja!...

I've done a virtual cover for the online publication Le Cool,

there were questions and answers too, be sure and check

Strides...

Hermit have a show opening tonight with some great

artists involved, come on down for beery treats, nice 

flyer tube action from Gareth.

Shuffled on up to the Jazz Cafe last night to see Diamond D

and Sadat X bring back a slice of golden era hip hop for the 

good folks of london, great show.
